At a time when our political lives, at present, seem to be immersed in ongoing tension, chaos and division. When our local, regional and national news media reminds us of ongoing incidents of divisiveness and intolerances, we find inspiration and immeasurable optimism when “one” among us steps forward representing harmony, team building, forthrightness, upstanding and genuine leadership and gives us hope that a better days is coming.
The leader I am referring to is a native son of South Carolina, he is the son of an educator (his mother) as well as an honorably discharged non-commissioned military officer (his father) who impressed upon him the importance of Christian and upstanding family values, commitment, hard work, dedication and responsibility.
This “ambassador of good will” and “service” is a military veteran (honorably discharged) who is a retired Manager with A T & T and earned undergraduate and graduate academic degrees (from South Carolina State University and Winthrop University, respectively) in addition to current professional licenses and certifications. Furthermore, to date, he is the owner and proprietor of a successful private business establishment.
Carl K. Dicks is a proud and devoted husband, father, church member and officer in addition to being deeply entrenched in numerous, local and regional fraternal, public service and community initiatives.
Carl K Dicks is an individual of vision, wisdom, maturity, analytical prowess, innovation, unwavering faith, character and principle. Furthermore, for these reasons and countless others, I extend this endorsement in support of his candidacy for the South Carolina State House of Representatives, District 46.
